Monday, June 19 - Open Kitchen, 1318 W Morehead St, Charlotte followed by tour of Randy Utsey RV project.
Monday, July 17. (Location Later) Bill Hartin with Wing Sport Aviation Presentation on Light Sport Aviation. He sells ready to fly LSA aircraft, Sting Sport and Star Sport.
Monday, August 21, Thane States has invited us to tour his RV10 Project
Monday, September 18 - Tour of Michael Moore's Aircraft Engine shop in Mooresville.
Monday, October 16 - Tour of Neal and Sam Stewart's Skybolt Biplane Project.
Monday, December 11 - EAA 309 Christmas Party at the Acropolis Restaurant in Cornelius.

IT'S PAY OFF TIME!
(This is the pay off for the friendly wager made between EAA Chapter 961 and 309 during the US Air Race held at Monroe last year)
EAA Chapter 961 would like to invite Chapter 309 to join us in a cook-out and fly-in to be held at noon, Saturday, May 27th at the Rock Hill Airport (UZA). This is Memorial Day week-end.
Location:
Colby Mosier's hanger which is off Taxiway J. Taxiway J is at midfield on the East side of the airport. Parking will be along taxiway J
Time:
We will fly Young Eagles from 9:00am until 11:00am. The Fly In officially begins at 11:00am. BBQ lunch to be served at 1:00pm.
Food:
Chapter 961 will provide BBQ, beans, slaw, bread, ice, drinks, paper products. Guests may bring desserts, fruit, casseroles, favorite dishes of any type
Facilities:
We will try to have tables and chairs for all but we should encourage guests to bring chairs if possible. We will provide extra Porta-Potties.
Head Count:
We need a final head count from 309 and 961 by Monday the 22nd.

Check out the Runway Cafe at Blue Ridge Airport (MTV), Martinsville, VA. The restaurant sits in the middle of the ramp with a great view of the runway. Flight distance is 96 NM, heading of 28 degrees from Charlotte.
