Gastonia Fly-In Breakfast

This is a note to advise some of the details for the Gastonia breakfast fly in on 6.11.05 which is timed to start at 8:00 am. at Ray Petty's hangar. Ronnie Brown and Ravi Thakkar have been sending out postcards about ourselves and the event to 512 National members of the EAA in this area so we hope for a good response.

We will have a sign-in tent run by Tad Sargent and assisted by Ronnie Brown which will be selling raffle tickets. The purpose of the sign-in is to get a record of the participants and to hopefully recruit some pilots and new members to EAA 309. The drawing will be at 10:00 am.

Young Eagle coordinator Ken Poindexter will be organising Young Eagle flights as usual. The YE flights will start at about 10:15 am after the raffle drawing . I understand that Harold Ramsey will be bringing a Boy Scout troop and Ken will have several other families in attendance. Food will be coordinated by our team of expert chefs - Sam Stewart, Kevin Cromie and David Borders.
