Gastonia Fly-In Breakfast

The Gastonia breakfast fly in on 6.11.05 which was very successful.  We had a good crowd of folks and planes.  The morning started with some spotty low clouds but didn't prevent some 40 airplanes and helicopters from flying in.

Tad Sargent ran a spirited raffle which awarded Jerry Wiese with $125 that he can use to speed his RV7 project along!

Young Eagle coordinator Ken Poindexter had many Young Eagle prospects - unfortunately, only John Wigney flew more than one flight!  And his plane only has one passenger seat - so several YE's didn't get a ride. Our chapter was woefully short of pilots and planes.  We have got to get more of you back into this very important and rewarding activity!!!
