ular, I would like to express my appreciation to Ronnie Brown without whom the chapter just would not run smoothly. Ronnie's positions are :- Newsletter editor, Web site coordinator, Technical Counselor, Flight Advisor plus a lot of others. Where would we be without him?

A visit has been arranged to the US Airways simulator facility at Charlotte Douglas airport. The facility has about 12 Boeing, Airbus and other simulators. We have had to schedule the visit at a quiet time and Saturday, News Year's eve is the best opportunity. Our contact is Joe Boose who is a Technical Manager at the facility.  Chapter member Ron Miller also works there with the Airbus simulator and will help with this tour.

Time : Saturday, 12.31.05, 10:00 am. (We will meet at the US Airways security gate at 10:00 am but if you are late, the security guard will be able to direct you.)

Directions :  On Billy Graham Parkway at the junction with West Blvd, turn west onto Paul Brown Blvd.  After about a mile, turn right (= north) onto Yorkmount Rd.  After about 1/2 mile turn left onto Hangar Rd

The Christmas Party held on Monday, December 12 was well attended with 49 folks.  The food was very good and reasonably priced.  Deserts and service were excellent at the Acropolis Restaurant in Cornelius.  Ravi Thakkar again ran the Chinese Gift Giving which was even more hilarious than last year.
