EAA CHAPTER 309
MEETING MINUTES
MAY 15, 2006

The May meeting of Chapter 309 of the Experimental  Aircraft Association met at the Captains Galley restaurant.  The meeting was called to order by President Wigney at 7:13 pm.  Five visitors and guests were introduced.  President Wigney announced that the June meeting would be at Randy Utsey’s business/workshop and would allow the chapter members to see his progress on an RV-7.  The meeting will also feature a cookout.  The July meeting was announced to be at the Quaker Steak and Lube and the August to be a visti to Michael Moore’s engine shop in Mooresville.

The next Fly In is scheduled for June 10 in Gastonia.  This will be a breakfast event beginning at 8:00 am and will feature rides for Young Eagles beginning at 10:00 am.

Because of a scheduling problem the speaker for the evening had to be rescheduled.  In the interest of  allowing members to report on progress with their projects a number of members  gave presentations.  The projects cited included five Rvs,  a Skybolt,  a Mustang II, and an Avid Magnum.

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 pm.

Respectively submitted
