EAA 309

PROJECT

Chapter members constructed a RV-6A at the Carolinas Historic Aircraft Commission Museum at Charlotte Douglas Airport. This RV-6A provided chapter members with the opportunity to work on a homebuilt project.  Construction began in 1993 and work was done about every Tuesday evening.  After the airframe was completed, the membership decided to sell the project on Ebay.

Our focus will now shift to finding a home for EAA Chapter 309 somewhere in the Charlotte Area.  Meanwhile, see the member project list  and contact the member for more information about building a homebuilt that you may be interested in.  Members often welcome help driving rivets, turning wrenches, laying up fiberglass and epoxy  and readily accept help sanding!!!
