Welcome to Charlotte, NC's EAA Chapter 309 Web Site. Our chapter extends a warm welcome to anyone who is interested in aviation. We are dedicated to furthering the idea of sport aviation through our support of the Young Eagles Program, Flying Start, and the teaching of building techniques used in the construction of experimental aircraft. Our activities include monthly dinner meetings and periodic outings to members locations as well as Young Eagles days at local airports. Chapter 309 has over 90 members, consisting of pilots and non-pilots. Our pilots build and fly homebuilts, restore production aircraft, antiques, warbirds, amphibians, and ultralights. We also have several EAA Technical Counselors and Flight Advisors to help you with your homebuilt project. Our non-pilots just love airplanes and airplane noise!!! Come out to one of our gatherings and join in on the fun. You'll be glad you did and we look forward to meeting you. EAA Chapter 309 is a 501(c)3 organization - We welcome your donations which may be tax deductible! |
